Amy is a multidisciplinary illustrator from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Her work combines hand-rendered and digital techniques which together form her unique style.

Amy completed her degree in Fashion Design in 2014 and went on to become a Lingerie Designer at Concepts Paris (London). During her time at University she completed internships with the likes of Alexander McQueen and Roland Mouret, gaining a real understanding and passion for the art of Haute Couture. Her time as a Lingerie designer opened her up to a world of detail and femininity, something which really resonates in her work today. In 2016, Amy decided to take the plunge and start a new career as an illustrator.

Today, Amy continues to experiment with her favourite mediums, Pencil, Watercolour, Acrylic, Oil, Photoshop, Procreate and even Gold leaf. She is not afraid to experiment and go against the the traditional ‘rules’ of painting.

Amy creates editorial work for fashion and beauty magazines as well as bespoke portraits. In her personal work, the theme of fashion and beauty is ever-present, with inspiration coming from the latest Haute Couture shows and makeup looks, often combined with her love for the natural world.

clients include NYLON, The Beauty Effect Magazine, Stone&Strand fine jewellery, AmaElla Lingerie and The Apartment Group. See some of Amy’s commercial work here.
